The opposition youth who were to testify against Gen. Kale Kayihura, the Inspector General of Police have backed out and will not appear in court on Wednesday.
This happens a day to Kayihura appearing before Makindye Magistrates Court.
Speaking to the media at Makerere University, Andrew Sebitosi, Rogers Ddiba and Joseph Kaddu claimed that they were bribed with 800,000 shillings each and promised 5 million shillings after testifying in court by the lawyers.
These youth were to testify against the IGP as regards the case of police brutality.
They added they were not victims of the beatings and it is on this basis that they are not viable witnesses.
