Byaruhanga who acknowledged most Kampala Capital Capital City [KCCA] Councillors are from the opposition says the minority NRM too can put up a show.
“We are going to show them what being the minority means,” Byaruhanga vowed while appearing on NBS television Friday morning.
The Councillor for Kyambogo University said the efforts to impeach Lord Mayor Lukwago in 2013 followed the law.
“I don’t regret it. I hold no grudge against Erias Lukwago as a person.”
He said the difference is in ideology.
He noted that with a council that is mainly made up of opposition Councillors, Lord Mayor Lukwago has no excuses.
“The two Kampala ministers are women. KCCA Executive Director is a woman. Deputy Lord Mayor a woman. Good to have more female leaders.”
He said those who want KCCA Executive Director out have failed to understand what she brings to Kampala: a better KCCA.
Byaruhanga says the problem of Kampala is the KCCA Act and egos.
