Wavah Broadcasting Services (WBS TV) will do a live broadcast of the much awaited Pan-African Pyramid awards on Friday.
The Pan-African Pyramid global awards and second bonfire dinner will take place at Fairway hotel in Kampala.
It showcases African attire, African foods and African entertainment courtesy of Ndere Troupe and African decorations.
The South African based Ugandan Evelyn Bright who doubles as CEO Levyn Africa is in charge of decorating the venue with her team from South Africa.
Ras B.Sali of Taboo Rays is in charge of stage and lighting system at the venue.
To be part of this historic event one only needs to get oneself a card at Shs.60,000, Shs100,000, Shs 500,000 and Shs1m for a table of four.
The PAP host Andrew Irumba told Insider on Wednesday that after lengthy engagement with WBS TV management, the station agreed to cover the event live.
“This event will make history as the outside world will follow the proceedings of the comfort of their seating rooms by simply tuning to WBS TV” Irumba said.
“Just like they say, ‘You can’t stop an idea whose time has come’ 2016 years later since coming of Jesus Christ, there has been over 169 different Awards world over, but there has never been a pan-African Award!”
He says this will be the very first of its kind organised by the Pan-African Pyramid (PAP).
PAP is an intellectual non-partisan discussion forum built on the Pillars of pan-Africanism, patriotism and nationalism whose Ideal/pre-occupation is to revive intellectual discourse among the youths with a bias of re-constructing our lost Pan-Africanism, patriotism and Nationalism Values and spirit.
