President Yoweri Museveni has added a tantalizing animation to his campaign son “Kwezi”.
In July last year, he released “Yengoma” in which he affirmed life presidency.
His first rap song, Mpenkoni, came before the 2011 elections.
Museveni released ‘Kwezi’ in November 2015.
While launching his manifesto on 6th of November, Museveni sang the new song for his supporters officially launching it.
It is a folk song which he sang in his mother tongue ‘Runyankore’ and this time, it was produced by Washington.
“Teera ente itaahe” literally meaning “Beat the cattle to get in the kraal” and “Ezi ente nezooha” meaning “Whose cattle are these?”.
To add flavour, the president had the song animated.
“Our young supporters have made another animation, this time about my song KWEZI,” he said in a social media message.
The animated version already has 5,000 views on YouTube.
