A Ugandan police commander who is wanted for murder on Monday “sat on” a female Member of Parliament during her brutal arrest alongside FDC candidate, Kizza Besigye.
The victim of the gruesome incident was Kampala Woman MP, Hon Nabillah Naggayi.
The overzealous police officer is Aeron Baguma who still has a court case related to murder and kidnap.
Nabillah was arrested in Kampala during Besigye’s blocked procession to the city centre.
She was detained together with the FDC leader at Central Police Station in Kampala and later Kira road police station.
Addressing press after the incident, Police spokesman, Fred Enanga, said the act by Baguma was subject to investigation.
He said if Nabillah feels she was mishandled, police would investigate the matter.
This is not the first time police is mishandling Naggayi.
Together with others like Ingrid Turinawe, FDC secretary for mobilisation and FDC woman, Fatuma Naigaga, Naggayi has also been undressed by police.
Baguma who sat on her yesterday was last month supposed to appear in court on the Director of Public Prosecution directives to answer to charges in connection with the infamous Pine Car Bond murder.
Baguma participated in the kidnap and murder of businesswoman, Donah Betty Katushabe.
He is charged alongside the proprietor of pine car bond, Muhammad Ssebufu, a crime preventer, Paul Tasingika, a Congolese national, Phillip Mirambe, and a one Stephen Lwanga.
Katushabe was murdered by the group for failure to pay Shs9m balance on a car she bought from Pine car bond.
The same cop was recently suspended for raiding a printer at Nasser road and confiscating FDC manifestos.
