Video: Bahati wants cops who squeezed her breasts punished

NBS TV journalist who was arrested while reporting live at Kizza Besigye’s home reminds police that “journalism is not a crime, it’s a public good”.

She narrates her traumatic ordeal in an interview with BBC News day.

Bahati talks about Uganda Police Force and how the Press freedom in Uganda is being raped by Police.

Bahati says she was beaten by policemen who also fondled her breasts.

“I will also lodge a formal complaint to the Uganda Human rights commission… so that Police officers who manhandled me are brought to book.”

She is one of the many journalists so far arrested in the new trend by police to curtail freedom of press.
