The police has stopped the launch of the controversial ‘Unsowing the Mustard Seed’ book which was to take place at Amazing Grace Gardens along Bombo road.
This launch was propriated by the famous youth pressure group, Jobless brotherhood that comprises of strong opinionated opposition youth and the function was to be presided over by Justice George Wilson Kanyeihamba, former Supreme Court Judge.
This book counteracts ‘Sowing the Mustard Seed’ authored by the ruling President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.
The police led by RPC Wesley Nganizi and Wandegeya DPC Moses Nanoka stormed the venue and ordered everyone to leave claiming that the management of the venue was not aware of the function and it is them that alerted police.
Norman Tumuhimbise, the President of the Jobless Brotherhood and author of the book argued that the management was aware of their presence and had been fully paid. He demanded that failure to accommodate them posed a need for a refund with interest.
RPC Nganizi was later forced to order for the arrest of these youth but their efforts were futile since the intended victims immediately scattered.
These youth are famous for continuously confronting the police claiming that they are fighting to secure their rights.
