A Ugandan government official has been found dead at Schiphol airport in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
Michael Odong, 53, left Entebbe International Airport in Uganda aboard KLM Airlines on Saturday morning for Geneva, Switzerland via Amsterdam, according to the state-run New Vision.
He was found dead at Schiphol Airport on Monday.
Odong was born on September 30, 1963 in Gulu district, Northern Uganda.
His nationality was confirmed by Uganda’s Mission in Brussels.
According to the mission, Odong was an official in the Ministry of Agriculture.
He was an Assistant Commissioner in charge of Agrochemicals.
