Forget the criticism Uganda’s fast food-Rolex-has so far garnered, the fast food has now gone international.
Next time you are in Washington DC, look for Rolex House, not Waffle House.
Weeks after the maiden Rolex festival in Kampala, a Ugandan farmer has decided to open a restaurant in US’ DC primarily serving Uganda’s fastest growing fast food as ranked by news channel CNN.
The festival, launched by Tourism minister Godfrey Kiwanda drew criticism from social media ‘dwellers’ reasoning that Uganda, endowed by beautiful flora and fauna would rather have promoted Kato Lubwama and his brains.
However, the farmer says this is a good opportunity for Ugandan travelers as they will eat less Chinese food in the USA.
The farmer also believes the restaurant will do wonders to curb home-food sickness.
