Federation of International Football Associations (FIFA) referees from Uganda received their respective assortment of equipment.
This was during the weekly press conference on Wednesday at FUFA House in Mengo.
The brief ceremony was graced by the FUFA president, Eng. Moses Magogo, the chairman, FUFA Referees standing committee, Chris Kalibala before the members of the media.
Handing over FIFA Referees’ equipment, the FUFA President appreciated the role played by referees with a call for continued commitment towards their service in football development.
Kalibala challenged the referees to stick to professionalism in line with the calling to serve football to perfection. He also requested many national referees to fulfil their obligations towards the Uganda Football Referees’ Association;
”I urge referees to affiliate to Uganda Football Referees’ Association (UFRA) body,” Chairman FUFA Referees standing committee, Chris Kalibala.
The FIFA referees also included the three beach soccer referees that Uganda has.
