crime story

Two children who were recently kidnapped by unknown people have been found dead.
Police recovered the two decomposing bodies of five year old Nankabirwa Hajara and four year old Jamil Kyakoonye on Wednesday.
Both deceased children were fathered by Kasibante Ibrahim of Butalangu town centre in Nakaseke District.
Police says on July 15 the two siblings were kidnapped by unknown people on their way back home from Lighted Dove Nursery and Primary School.
The kidnappers reportedly called the parents of the victims and demanded for a ransom of 1.5 million shillings.
A report was made and investigations started.
Nakaseke police was reinforced by Luweero Flying Squad unit who in due course of investigations, had so far arrested 6 suspects.
” To our dismay this morning of today 27th of July and to the disbelief of residents of Butalangu who are still shocked, a good samaritan who has been cutting a tree in his garden in Kyooloola LC1 Butalangu town centre landed on the bodies of the two children which were in a decomposing state,” said Savannah region police spokesperson.
According to him, police reached the scene which appeared that the bodies could have been brought from somewhere where they could have been killed and one placed on top of the other in the pit where they were recovered.
