Thugs on Tuesday night broke into Go Forward candidate, Amama Mbabazi’s lawyers offices and stole files as well as laptops.
Unknown people raided Muhammad Mbabazi’s office located at Buganda Road and Fred Muwema’s office located at Acacia Avenue in Kampala in the same night.
The computers and documents stolen had information and evidence backing up Mbabazi’s election petition currently before the Supreme Court.
The security guard on duty identified as Simon Okello was badly beaten.
He is currently admitted at Mulago referral hospital.
Meanwhile, the lawyers accuse Uganda police of raiding their offices and stealing their documents.
Muhammed Mbabazi says witnesses saw policemen at the scene.
On Monday, Chief Justice Bart Katureebe was attacked outside his home as he went to Supreme Court to listen to the petition challenging President Yoweri Museveni’s 2016 election victory.
