Jubilations, cheering and endless laughter stormed streets of Kampala as FDC’s Dr Kizza Besigye was granted bail by Justice Masalu Musene earlier this morning.

On his way to his home in Kasangati, hundreds of his spporters were on every stage along road singing and shouting Besigye’s campaign song  Toka kwa bara bara.

Though Police tried caning kiboko and  blocking some roads like that of Kalerwe, to cut off Besigye’s supporters who had gathered 2 cheer him, it did stop from jumping the big trenches along the road.

Speaking to residents in Kasangati, Besigye said, “As I promised, we are going to start from where we stopped from. We are not going to be intimidated”

Rt. Col. Further added that he’s very “glad” that he’s “free for now” and that he doesn’t know for how long he will remain free.
