Kenya First Lady, Margaret Kenyatta, has all reasons to spend sleepless nights and keep close watch on her man, President Uhuru Kenyatta.
A sensational and sexy Tanzanian singer, Rehema Chalamila aka Ray-C says she is still interested in marrying Kenyatta.
The Bongo flava, R&B and taarab queen revealed that if there is a man she would rather wed, that would be the Kenyan president.
“I really admire President Uhuru Kenyatta and I have found myself wishing he was not married,” she said in a recent interview.
“He is a perfect man, my kind of a man. He is the only guy I feel love for,” Ray C confessed.
Tanzania stops Ray C from going to Kenya
The singer was over the weekend prevented from travelling to the Kenyan Coast where she had a concert.
Tanzanian government allegedly stopped her from visiting Kenya over drugs issues.
Ray C has been in rehab for two years following a drug-addiction issue that threatened her singing career.
According to Standard Digital, she had three concerts over the weekend in Mombasa and Malindi.
Standard quoted documents showing Ray C was paid Sh75,000 as down payment for the concerts that were to take place at Bidi Badu in Diani, Club Pata Pata in Malindi and Qwetu Beach in Likoni.
Ray C was to be paid a further Sh15,000, after the concerts.
Ring Ring Entertainment which had signed the contract with her for the three shows, said Tanzanian government stopped Ray C returning to the place “where she got addicted to drugs and eventually lost her cool”.
“They said the president [Jakaya Kikwete] and the government as a whole spent a fortune taking Ray C to India for treatment after she got addicted. They said the same people who got her into drugs are still in Mombasa and they did not see how she would go back to Mombasa for a concert yet nothing is being done about the drugs barons,” Ring Ring Entertainment told Monday Blues.
