Outspoken presidential advisor on media, Tamale Mirundi, says presidency minister, Frank Tumwebaze, is Amama Mbabazi’s agent.
Mirundi was appearing on NBS Extra, a programme aired by NBS TV on Tuesday morning.
Mirundi claims that it was only himself and government spokesperson, Ofwono Opondo, who were fighting Mbabazi.
He says Tumwebaze only pretended to fight Mbabazi inorder to disguise his real motives.
Mirundi argued that once he was fought out of State House by Mbabazi agents, Tumwebaze then went silent is no longer criticising Amama.
“Frank Tumwebaze has disappeared like a gonorrhoea,” Mirundi said.
“Minister Frank Tumwebaze is a Mbabazi agent.”
According to Mirundi the arrest of Kampala Lord Mayor, Erias Lukwago, yesterday was orchestrated by the former Prime Minister with the help of the minister for Kampala.
“He [Amama] hatched the Lukwago arrest drama, days before the pope gets here,” Mirundi said.
Mirundi insinuates that Tumwebaze who saw the exit of the lord mayor in 2013, has been fighting Lukwago on behalf of Mbabazi [his boss].
Mbabazi’s house is full of 50k notes
The outspoken former president’s dog also claimed that Amama Mbabazi’s house is full of money in piles of Shs50,000 notes.
“Four rooms in Amama Mbabazi’s house are full of UGX50,000 notes, floor to ceiling.”
It is not clear how Mirundi found out about the alleged money in the presidential candidate’s house.
Meanwhile, he said if his wife was found with a Go Forward ticket, that would result in an immediate divorce.
“My wife possessing a Go Forward ticket is a straight path to divorce.”
