Continuing with our Tamale Mirundi recordings, the presidential press secretary now says the corrupt presidency and Kampala minister, Frank Tumwebaze, will die in jail.
Mirundi says Maj Edith Nakalema and Brig Proscovia Nalweyiso who lead a gang of thieves at State House, have been accusing him of attacking Tumwebaze on radio stations.
“Yet, Tumwebaze is corrupt and a thief too,” the self-proclaimed President’s dog insisted.
“He (Tumwebaze) is in many corruption scandals and in fact I told Nakalema to advise Tumwebaze to lie low like an envelope.”
Mirundi complains that Nakalema has been pushing him for photographers not to give photos to Sarah Kagingo, who is bent on selling President Yoweri Museveni’s positive image on social media.
He said he was surprised that Nakalema supports Frank Tumwebaze Social Media team yet Kagingo who she hates attended the social media dinner where State House press team never appeared.
Mirundi said if he chose, he would demolish Tumwebaze in five minutes.
The audio is here:
“If I want to destroy him, he cannot even leave the toilet.”
Mirundi claimed to have “all the documents against him” that prove corruption scandals.
“Where are these fools?” he went personal saying one day, people will beat up Tumwebaze for his “crooked acts”.
He accused Tumwebaze of changing KCCA laws to remove Lord Mayor, Erias Lukwago, and “steal people’s property”.
“I can predict Tumwebaze will die in jail, he will die in Luzira.”
“I am not desperate like him, I a m a rich man, I have all tribes of vehicles at my Zzana home. They (cars) keep entering and going out.”
Mirundi also said he has several businesses and mansions and cannot be intimidated by State House thieves.
“I can’t fight with such a thief as Tumwebaze. He will get 60 years in jail, he will die in prison.”
Mirundi claimed Tumwebaze even fears him and knows he (Tamale) doesn’t respect the likes of the Kamwenge legislator.
“I can even grab him and beat him. Tumwebaze, I know poverty is bad but I, Mirundi, I am not a pauper like you.”
The presidency minister has appeared in some of the biggest corruption and bribery scandals that rocked 2014.
He was cited in the Shs 24bn Mukono-Katosi road fraud; Works minister Abraham Byandala pinned Tumwebaze for having relatives in the sham American company Eutaw that won the contract.
As the Katosi road fraud raged on, Tumwebaze was once more cited in the Shs 22tn Standard Gauge Railway scandal.
He was later cited in a Shs 1bn mother of scandals which state security agencies allegedly found on “his Crane Bank fixed deposit account”.
This one was never proved as the minister himself denied it vehemently.
