Police at the Kenya- Uganda border point of Bush’s has arrested a suspected terrorist on his way to Uganda’s capital Kampala.
Muhammad Abdi Ali was arrested on Tuesday at around 11am on a Kampala bound his following a security from Kenyan police to their Ugandan counterparts.
Busia’s District Police Commander (DPC) Nelson Nahabwe said Ali is a Somali national linked to the feared al-Shabaab terror group.
Upon interrogation, Ali reportedly said he was on his way to South Africa through Entebbe International Airport.
Manager said Abdi was out on police’s wanted lost following the the 2010 Kampala twin bombings in Kyadondo and Kabalagala.
