Makerere don Dr Stella Nyanzi has taken satire a little too far.
The lecturer who recently wrecked social media havoc by undressing in public, is now in court to defend dead relatives.
In her suit filed at the High Court in Kampala, Nyanzi accuses Vision Group of storming the burial grounds of her dead relatives and taking unauthorised pictures.
She submits that the publicity given to her deceased parents, family and home infringed on her rights to privacy.
She says Vision unnecessarily circulated the said pictures in the newspaper, on TV and online publications.
Nyanzi now demands that Vision publishes a full apology for desecrating the burial grounds of her ancestors and violating cultural norms and customary values.
