SPLA Maj. Gen. Johnson Olony has threatened to cut off heads of two Generals allied to rebel chief, Dr Riek Machar.
While meeting the SPLA army delegation that visited him at Lelo on Sunday morning, Olony labeled Riek Machar and his rebels as “terrorists and the enemies of the constitution”.
Gen. Olony reiterated his loyalty to President Salva Kiir and swore that he would cut off the heads of Gen Gabrielle Tangiye and Maj Gen Thomas Mabor Dhol.
In a communication by his advisor, Brig. Gen. Nyaguol, Olony accuses the two Generals fighting under Machar’s banner of organising Nuer marauding forces to take Shilluk lands.
“The Shilluk cannot forgive Tanginye and Thomas Mabor Dhol who once occupied Shilluk lands by force. They now want to take back Kaldak and Canal Mouth that we liberated from the Nuer last year,” Olony said.
“We received an information that Tanginye and Thomas Mabor Dhol are mobilizing Nuer White Army to invade Shilluk Kingdom to take back Kaldak and Canal Mouth.”
Gen. Olony said that he would not allow Nuer expansionists to retake Kaldak and Canal Mouth because these areas belong to Shilluk.
Gen. Olony called for Shilluk to work together with the Government of South Sudan and Gov. Simon Kun Puoc to fight the Nuer expansionists who are fighting for the vicar of Ngundeng.
Trouble started last week when Gen Olony’s forces clashed with the Upper Nile State governor’s security guards and Dinka militia in Malakal.
He told Radio Tamazuj that situation had normalised and that SPLA was in control of Malakal now.
Olony also accused some SPLA units of involvement in the recent clashes in Malakal town.
He said the Defence minister, Kuol Manyang, will be visiting Malakal and that his advance team has already arrived in the town.
Olony denied claims that he abducted schoolboys to join the army in Upper Nile.
