A police officer attached to Arapai police post in Soroti district has killed his boss and injured another colleague.
Emmanuel Obbo shot dead Michael Orukan, the Officer-in-Charge and wounded a one Emmanuel Opolot, on Sunday.
The East Kyoga police spokesperson, Juma Hassan Nyene, confirmed the report saying Obbo was on the run.
Nyene said Obbo shot his colleagues at around 8:30 pm following a fight with Opolot in a bar.
The OC died instantly and his body was taken to Soroti Regional Hospital mortuary.
He said the injured Opolot was admitted at Joint Clinic in Soroti town.
He called on the public to arrest the suspect or report once they spot him.
