Ugandan female musician Nabaatu Naira Ali has revealed a lot of hidden secrets between herself and other big male artists.
While appearing on a local radio station Sunday September 18, the Diva revealed how she pleaded for a music collabo with Bebe Cool, the Kabulengane hit-maker, but her request was thrown very deep down into the trash can.
“I first sent my ‘shy girl’ demo to Bebe Cool. I was dying for the collabo but can you imagine he never replied to me at all? I sent the same demo to Bafana and shockingly, he liked the song, which we recorded within one day,” said Naira Ali.
Naira praised Bafana for being a down-to-earth talented dude who loves everybody regardless of their social status.
In ‘Shy girl’, the diva plays coy by confessing how she fears men and can’t look at them straight into their eyes.
“I honestly fear men including Zizza Bafana. I can’t even look straight into his eyes. That’s why am always in shades.”
Naira Ali rose to fame with her single Tulo Tulo.
She has since released other hits like Mwerere, Masala, Binyuma, Muntu Wange, Ninja, among others.
The famous Masala hit-maker was recently in Europe for the UNAA conference where she performed with other great musicians like Diamond Platinum, Bobi Wine etc.
