Sheebah on the run, manager arrested

The whereabouts of singer, Sheebah Karungi, are still unknown, according to the latest gossip.

Her disappearance follows the arrest of Sheebah’s manager, a one Ranks who is accused of pocketing money from a client and denying it.

Efforts to get Sheebah behind bars on Saturday evening proved futile after she fled her home and turned off her publicly known phones.

It all began when the ‘Go Down Low’ singer stooped too low and posted a message on Facebook denying having received any money from Zodiac Lounge (former Steak Out), which had already included her on the posters as one of the performers on the club’s grand re-opening party.

According to the posters, the event is scheduled for Friday May 22, 2015 and features Sheebah, Maddox and Apass.

However, Sheebah denies having been contacted by the club in regard to her services.

“Honestly, this has to stop. Why would someone advertise an artist without booking them?! You even go ahead, make a poster and share it?!!! Or Why would someone receive money on behalf of an artist you don’t work with?! I just don’t get it! Its Business folks not a playground. We work so hard, put in alot of Time & Money to be ripped off and disrespected like this…You take our Fans money,” Sheebah complained on Instagram.

This didn’t go down well with the Club’s administration claims it paid her part of the money.

The administrators of the club reported the matter to police, backing up their claims by receipts which were issued by Sheebah upon receiving the money.

They laid a trap by calling her to go and pick the remaining balance.

Sheebah, unaware of the plan sent her manager, Ranks to pick the money.

The lad was arrested and placed behind bars at Wandegeya police station.

Ranks had moved with a colleague who managed to escape police arrest and tipped Sheebah to disappear soon as possible.
