She Cranes defeat Zambia in Sydney

Uganda She Cranes has beaten Zambia 74-38 in the ongoing Indoor Netball World Cup.

The tournament is taking place in Sydney.

She Cranes won the first quarter 22-10, second 18-11, third 15-9 and lastly 19-8.

Peace Proscovia netted for She Cranes 56 goals and assisted create the rest.

Racheal Nanyonga also picked 10 goals with 7 assists.

Others credited for winning the game are Ruth Meme, Halima Nakacwa, Betty Namukasa and Florence Nanyonga.

She Cranes lost their first friendly match 67-46 against New Zealand but won their second friendly match against Singapore.

She Cranes will play Fiji on Saturday.

The team was flagged out of the country by President Yoweri Museveni who advised them to employ speed and all the tactics possible.
