Nasser Ntege Ssebagala, recently renamed as presidential advisor for special duties, has asked Kampala Lord Mayor not to defy government again.
Appearing on NBS TV Thursday, Seya said Government never erred during Erias Lukwago’s last tenure.
“I encourage Erias Lukwago not to defy but work with government. Lukwago was in Parliament when KCCA Act was passed. He should follow the law because the politicking period is over.”
Seya also spoke about Gen Sejusa saying he doesn’t not hate government but has his own dealings with the state.
On resigning as Museveni adviser last year, Seya said he didn’t want to waste taxpayers’ money because he had no access to the president.
“That has changed. President Museveni has asked me to concentrate on attracting more investors and seeing to it that the country exports more.”
Sebaggala revealed that a politician doesn’t have permanent friends or enemies; only the interests are permanent.
“To further ease my work, I’m getting an office in the President’s Office, 4th floor and a new car.”
Sebaggala resigned from the same position because he was frustrated by some people but this time, the president promised there will be a special arrangement.
