Senior Cranes players raid, siege Fufa offices to oust Magogo

A group of former Uganda Craned players led by George Semwogerere,  Obwinyi,  Dan Walusimbi and Ouma have raided and broken the main door to the Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA) offices in Mengo.

Obadiah Semakula,  Kaweesa, Nanik  all former players were part of the team that raided FUFA and vandalised the main door to the offices.
The demonstrators were protesting the alleged sale of the building by FUFA president, Moses Magogo.

The football governing body said in a tweet that the situation at FUFA House was later put under control after Police led by DPC Old Kampala Nsaba Charles  stepped in with his team.

Dan Walusimbi, a former Cranes player, told media that football has won.

“This level of impunity in FUFA must be stopped. This is our home, we are back,” he said.

Ahmed Hussein, the FUFA spokesperson, said they were surprised that some of the former senior football players are the ones behind the incident.
