Ryan Giggs has left his role as Manchester United’s assistant manager, after 29-years with the Old Trafford club.
The 42-year-old made a record 963 appearances for United and had a year left on his contract at Old Trafford.
The Welshman, who gained his Uefa Pro Licence in 2014, hopes to manage in the future.
Giggs won a record 13 league titles, two European Cups, four FA Cups and four League Cups before retiring in 2014.
He served as assistant to David Moyes and then to Louis van Gaal and has backed new boss Jose Mourinho to be a success in the role.
