Rwenzuru kingdom Prime Minister Noah Nzaghale has been relieved from duty by king Charles Membere in a one man reshuffle.
“Am reliving him of his duties for failure to perform his duties in time, he is just slow in implementing kingdom programs” Omusinga said.
His majesty announced this development on Sunday afternoon during a press briefing at his Palace in Kasese town.
The king informed all his subjects that the decision was reached after realizing that the PM was incompetent.
According to communications from the kingdom, YeremiahMutooro, the Kingdom’s deputy Prime Minister will also act as the interim Prime Minister.
Nzaghale was one of the 181 suspects arrested and charged in the army court martial over the July 2014 attacks in Rwenzori region.
He was however cleared in March last year after state lost interest in the case.
Nzaghale and other suspects were arrested following the attacks on police and army barracks in Ntoroko, Kasese and Bundibugyo districts on July 5, which left over 90 people including soldiers, police officers and civilians dead.
