Ruhakana Rugunda, Uganda’s prime minister

The Rt. Hon. Prime Minister Dr. Ruhakana Rugunda this morning commissioned the National Records and Archives Centre at Lourdel Road Wandegeya, Kampala.

The state of the art facility under the Public Service ministry will be nucleus of Uganda’s historical antics previously haven in Entebbe.

“Archives and records are the heart and heritage of a nation. We are glad that we now have a facility where these will be securely stored for reference and posterity,” says Dr. Ruhakana.

At the opening ceremony Dr. Ruhakana (picture below), perused a book containing the record of historical files, such as the 1900 agreement.
