Residents Kill LCI Chairman over stolen cow


The Local Council Chairman (LCI) has been lynched for allegedly stealing a cow.

Angry residents of Namusulo village in Bumanya sub-county in Kaliro District have lynched the area LC1 Chairman for allegedly stealing a cow.

Ben Tenywa is said to have been found with a cow he had allegedly stolen from Yovani Kabul.

The deceased was lynched when the residents got information that a cow belonging to their colleague had disappeared in the night and they found the chairman moving with it.

Accordign to the Kaliro DPC Henry Kintu has confirmed the lynching of the LC1 Chairman. And however has condemned the residents for taking laws into their hands.
