Dr. Kizza Besigye, the Forum for Democratic Change presidential flag bearer has unveiled his take towards Museveni’s presidency.

While appearing on NBS Television in an exclusive interview this morning, the opposition leader addressed the nation on his next move after two months of incarceration especially his followers.

He however continuously highlighted how the recent February 2016 elections where not legitimately conducted. Saying that power was given to people who lacked people’s mandate.

Besigye further cleared the rumours about his party position in the FDC, ‘l am truly a party member and therefore l will stand with what the party has to say and by its decisions,’

The opposition leader was recently released from Luzira Upper Prison from where he faces charges of treason and the case continues in court. This is because of the video that circulated on social media showing him swearing as President.

Besigye said that the political situation can only be solved through dialogue whereby efforts to make this possible have been futile since 2001 when he personally reached out to make this possible to date. He adds that he is glad that citizens have finally woken up.

Recently the police took a turn to beating up his supporters and to this he retorted that police brutality in the aspect of beating up people is nothing new because whichever method used is still police brutality either way.
