Police swears to continue tight-marking Besigye’s movements

Police has vowed to continue monitoring the movements of former Forum for Democratic Change Presidential candidate Dr. Kizza Besigye.

Speaking to journalists this morning, police spokesperson Andrew Felix Kaweesi says this will be done so that he does not cause chaos.

Police remain deployed at Besigye’s home in Kasangati.

Dr Besigye was on Monday expected to appear before Ms Mary Eleanor Khainza, the registrar of the High Court- Criminal Division as one of the conditions of his bail in a case in which he was charged with treason.

However, Policespokesperson Felix Kaweesi says they were not aware that Besigye had to report to Court this morning.
