Police is still laying siege of 4GC offices located along Katonga Road in Kampala.
FDC women activists this morning marched to parliament to present a petition protesting police brutality against women.
They were, however, intercepted by anti-riot police, teargased, sprayed with pepper gas and driven back to 4GC offices.
Police also offered to transport the women to parliament which they rejected.
Some were seen seated on the road amidst pepper spray.
At 4GC offices, Police took over the premises and laid camp, blocking all exits.
We are told police has blocked FDC members who tried to take food to the sieged women protestors.
The food has also been confiscated leaving the women to starve since morning.
They were protesting the brutal arrests of Fatuma Zaina Naigaga who was undressed on Saturday along Mbarara-Masaka road.
Over 50 women remained stranded in Nakasero neighbourhood with police taking over the entire hill the whole day, wedensday.
It took the intervention of foreign embassy officials and UN dignitaries to rescue them.
The Leader of Opposition in Parliament, Wafula Oguttu, and Norwegian officials engaged police till the women were set free.
Oguttu and a team from United Nations also went to the Central Police Station to push for the release of some women who were arrested during the march.
