Police breaks into home of Mbabazi’s female fan

Police Thursday morning raided the home of Jannette Mugisha, a supporter of presidential aspirant, Amama Mbabazi.

Rachel Mbabazi, Amama’s youngest daughter, sounded the alarm on social media as soon as armed men stormed her friend’s home.

“They came in, searched her house and collected all electronic gadgets in one place. They then proceeded to ask her if she had any JPAM t-shirts and other campaign material,” Rachel narrates.

“Then they asked her how she knew Rachel Mbabazi! What her connection is to me? We think it is because she posted a photo of me in jail.”

“When asked if they had a search or arrest warrant, they arrogantly told her that they do not need one. That they are CIID officers. They left in a pick – up truck with UC number plates.”

“I think we need to start making a list of unlawful officers. Let’s not abuse the Police wholesale. There are some goons operating unlawfully in Police uniform.”

According to what we gathered, Jeanette is accused of managing social media groups especially WhatsApp platforms that aim at popularizing Mbabazi.

The latest on her social media is a vuvuzela-like illustration with Amama Mbabazi’s name and “Go Forward” campaign slogan.

We have learnt that police searched Jeanette’s house, turning it inside out.

They seized her gadgets as exhibits.
