The French international’s Old Trafford move was made official in the early hours of Tuesday morning after he arrived at the club’s AON Training Complex for a medical with his mum Yeo.
And the former Juventus midfielder has admitted in his first interview since returning to England that it feels like his four-year stay in Series A was ‘like a holiday’.
Speaking to MUTV, the club’s TV channel, the 23-year-old said, ‘There are no words to be honest, there are no words. I just came back to Carrington, it was like I just came back home.
‘It looks like I went for a holiday and I have come back home. I am happy and I see everyone, the same people, just a great feeling to be honest.
