Last Friday 22nd April, Kansanga, Kampala’s top suburb was turned up.
Club Pilsner threw a bash dubbed the Club Dome organised by Solutions East Africa Ltd, an events company that organises events for the top “Dawgs” in the business.
The Club Dome targets the youth, mostly University students, held under one big tent accommodating over 5,000 people with tickets only given out at university hostels prior to the event.
It kicked off in Mbarara at Mbarara University of Science and Technology (The experience was amazing!) then went to the crazy Nkozi University.
Finally, it happened last weekend in Kampala Dubbed #Tuzine #Tunywe #Twaake, an edition targeting International University of East Africa, Kampala International University, Kampala University, Makerere Business School [MUBS] and Cavendish University.
It’s an all in all event with Different activities for different peoples including; 9D cinema, Gamers enjoyed PS4, Xbox 360, Air Hockey, Pool & Fusbol which had sexy nice looking referees that would get one’s adrenalin pumping while on the cue.
‘On behalf of the gamers, thank you Solutions East Africa & Club Pilsener, that was a nice attire to judge your wrongs.’
Then there was a photo studio with instant pictures printed, so a moment with your local celebrities was waiting.
These included; Sophie Tatu (Capital Fm), Douglas (NTV), DJ Nimrod (Galaxy fm) Agatha Loshwash (NBS), The Mith, Naava, Maro, Brenda Nambi to mention but a few.
The evening started with MC Denzel reeling up the crowd.
DJ Apeman then brought the house down [like he knows best] giving the crowd mix-tapes later sending the crowd into a frenzy when he took off his t-shirt and threw it into the crowd.
MC Salvador then engaged the revellers with his popular nursery sing-along rhyme, wowing the crowd.
A few musicians then graced the stage, Michael Ross, Raba Daba, Vampino Gift of Kaddo.
The performances then culminated in the main acts Ziza Bafana and Sheeba Karungi and “oooh Boy”, they did show up.
Then the long Awaited moment arrived…Lights out (Thanks Fenon Events Sounds and Lighting was on point)…Then DJ Shiru hit the stage, spun the discs till the crowd went on their knees and begged for mercy!
The party was shut down in the wee hours of the morning to the very satisfaction of the customers.
