Museveni address gathering:
Never in the history of Uganda have we had infrastructural development on such a massive scale.
We are now building a standard gauge railway that will enable a train go from Kampala to Mombasa in 24 hours.
Development is not necessarily wealth; we have embarked all families of Uganda to engage in wealth creation activities.
The population of Uganda has grown and the general health has improved since 1986.
You have seen what Jenifer Musisi (KCCA ED) and Allen Kagina (UNRA ED) are doing to transform Uganda.
The issue of corruption can only be solved by NRM. It cleaned the army, the UWA and will do the same for civilians.
Uganda is taking off to middle income status.
Uganda has never been as peaceful as it is today.
I came to pick the forms for chairman of NRM for the coming Kisanja.
I had not come before because that’s not how the NRM works, especially at a senior level like this one.
The culture of “I want I want” is not NRM, especially at such a senior level.
We shall wait for CEC and NEC to do the needful then see how to move forward. I thank you for coming, showing your support.
We have a foundation stronger than we have had before. We shall succeed even more.
