President Yoweri Museveni Monday excited residents in Masindi town when he grabbed a drum and beat it to awaken them.
Museveni is traversing the country in a wealth creation campaign.
The presidential press secretary, Lindah Nabusayi, says the president sounded a drum as a way of urging communities to utilize Operation Wealth Creation.
He also urged them to increase production and improve incomes.
The President made a stop-over on his way to Masindi Boma grounds, and urged Ugandans gathered along the way on income generating activities.
He later commissioned a grain processing facility that adds value to maize and soya beans produced in Pakanyi, Masindi district.
While in the district, the president was also presented with a spear and shield.
