Uganda’s First Lady, Janet Kataaha Museveni on Sunday took her Kenyan counterpart, Margaret Kenyatta on a boat ride.
The unique ride was destined for the source of Africa’s longest river and the pride of Uganda, River Nile.
Margaret and her husband, president Uhuru Kenyatta are in Uganda on a 3-day state visit.
They first toured CIPLA Quality Chemicals Ltd before sailing to the source of the Nile.
Janet showed her Kenyan colleague the spot where the remains of the Indian adept of wisdom, Mahtma Gandhi, were immersed in the Nile.
In her appreciation, Margaret said: “It was great touring the Source of the Nile with Janet. Uganda is blessed.”
Janet also replied with similar enthusiasm saying, “I had the pleasure of leading Margaret on a tour of the source of River Nile.”
“Choose Uganda,” Janet urged.
