Parliament’s Appointments Committee on Monday vetted seven new High Court judges.
Judges vetted are; Zeija Flavian, Anne Mugenyi Bitature and Moses Kawumi Kazibwe.
The others are; Ketra Katunguka, Suzan Okalany, Ayuko Anthony Ojok and Stephen Mubiru
Speaker Rebecca Kadaga headed the parliamentary vetting committee.
It was the third time that the newly appointed judges appeared before Parliament for vetting.
The previous two appearances flopped since there was no quorum by the MPs.
President Museveni appointed the judges early this year to replace the six judges who had earlier been elevated to the Court of Appeal and the Constitutional Court.
However, they could not start work before Parliament confirms them.
The appointment of the new judges brings the total number of High Court judges to 50.
They will now take a judicial oath before President Museveni and officially commence work.
