Kasese municipality Member of parliament Hon. Robert Centenary has said that the Uganda police is biased with the information its revealing from Kasese.

Kasese district including the Rwenzururu Kingdom was raided by Uganda police and the Uganda people’s defence forces during the weekend on allegation of plans to secede from the central government to form Yiira republic.

Hon. Centenary also says government waged and declared war in my constituency. They have never announced cease fire.

“I think police is underestimating no. of dead people; police is accounting for only their officers, they don’t care about Ugandans”. Said MP Centenary.

While asked about the weapons recored from the palace, Hon. Centenary said they are cultural symbols that he also some in his house.

“I have a panga and a spear in house, and every house in Kasese has at least one of the tools, the pistol recovered from the kingdom was given to him by the Inspector General of Police.”
