Uganda opposition leader Kizza Besigye is Saturday expected to meet and address Ugandans as well as his supporters abroad on his tour of Europe.
Besigye will visit London in the United Kingdom to dialogue a way forward for “Uganda liberation struggle”.
The dialogue is organised by the FDC UK Chapter in conjunction with Uganda Diaspora P10 and other pro-democracy organisations in the UK.
The event is inform of a celebration and welcome for “His Excellency, The People’s President and Retired Col Dr. Kizza Besigye”.
It will get underway on Saturday, 27th August 2016 from 2:00 – 8:00 pm at Hilton Hotel London – Docklands Riverside 265 Rotherhithe Street, London, SE16 5HW.
Besigye, according to the programme, will be addressing Ugandans/friends and other stakeholders to thank them for their continued support to liberate Uganda.
He will also be sharing the way forward and seeking their support for the continued struggle.
There will be other prominent speakers including pro-democracy and human rights activists from other countries.
The High Court in Kampala has already allowed Besigye to travel out of the country pending his trial for treason.
The court order follows the varying of his bail conditions requiring Besigye to seek permission to travel abroad from the court, as per the earlier arrangement, according to New Vision.
Besigye is also expected to address a convention organised by Ugandans on September 10, 2016.
