Ndejje University students were not happy this week.
Over 200 first year students of engineering at Ndejje university have been suspended over strike.
The students are said to have demonstrated on Tuesday night following information that the institution’s management had increased their tuition by more than 10 per cent.
Ndejje University deputy vice Chancellor, Dr Fredrick Kakembo said it was wrong and a sign of indiscipline for students to demonstrate over what he described as mate rumours.
“For that, all first year engineering students are required to vacate the university premises in two hours time as an administrative measure.
All resident students are required to present their residence identification cards at all security checkup points,” read parr of Kakembo’s statement issued on Wednesday.
