Aruu county MP Hon. Odonga Otto says he will vote for Kampala Central MP Muhammad Nsereko for Deputy speakership.
Otto says although Jacob Oulanyah is from the same region as himself, things have to change.
“Jacob Oulanyah is our son, we know how bad he is,” Otto is quoted telling press at Parliament on Tuesday.
On Sunday, the NRM Central Executive Committee sat at State House Entebbe to resolve the question of deputy speakership.
The party chairman President Yoweri Museveni asked Nsereko to step down for Oulanyah.
The former rebel legislator refused telling off the president that he was not his puppet.
The angry president kicked Nsereko out of State House.
Nsereko insists he will not back down but is instead ready to defeat Oulanyah to the detriment of the president.
