Justice and Constitutional Affairs minister, Maj Gen Kahinda Otafiire, says he doesn’t miss his position as a Member of Parliament.
“I will not miss buying coffins and paying school fees now that I’m no longer MP,” Otafiire told NBS TV.
The minister says he cant see anything that he was benefitting as an individual from being a legislator.
“It was wasting my time just, running around, attending weddings and funerals.”
He said his role also included looking for school fees and buying coffins.
“I really don’t miss it. No, no, no, I think it’s a relief in a way,” the minister said.
