Another exodus has hit the Serena based NTV after their Akawungeezi reporter, Dean Lubowa Saava, decided to quit the station.
Sources from NTV told us that Dean tendered in his resignation on Friday last week after five years of working as a senior reporter.
He follows the likes of Rukh-Shana Naluyimba, Wasswa Chrismel, Shillah Mugisha and Solomon Sserwnaja who quit the station for the Kamwokya based NBS television.
However, we have learnt that Dean is not joining NBS television just like his fellow workmates but rather going back to his roots where he started his journalism journey.
Dean who started his journey at CBS fm will be joining the yet to be opened Buganda TV as a senior Luganda reporter joining Joe Kigozi who will be the Station manager.
Saava revealed that his 5-year stay at NTV had come to an end in a Facebook post.
“Officially, I thank all of you who have been working with me in the last 5 years, as part of NTV as a journalist. I really appreciate your help and support towards my career. I joined this family as young man with no much value but as per now, I can speak and the world listens. Now, it’s my pleasure to say goodbye to NTV. Naye twesangeyo mu season two (lets meet in Season 2). I will let you know my people where I am joining very soon though I will miss the AKAWUNGEEZI crew and entire newsroom.”
