Forum for Democratic Change secretary general Harold Kaija has said that Ugandans are warming up for a moment to line up at sub county headquarters to get what to eat.
This statement followed the question about his findings during the recently concluded elections in the newly created districts that were all swallowed by the ruling party NRM.
Speaking on one of the radio stations on Tuesday evening, Kaija revealed that some Ugandans are too desperate and majority who voted were being bribed with peanuts at the polling stations in broad day light.
He further said that the votes were not free and fair since majority of the voters did not cast their votes with allegations that their votes are never considered.
“People are too tired of the NRM corruption, majority did not vote because they say that even when they vote the people they vote are never declared,” said Kaija.
He concluded that the ground was not leveled and the full report about what transpired in all the five new districts is being filed by the party.
