The rates for the allowances now will be; Vehicle grant from shs103m to 130m, rent of shs 3m, and tea allowances of shs 2m. MPs already earn a monthly salary, mileage allowance (calculated per kilometer) town-running allowance, medical allowance, gratuity, committee sitting allowance and plenary sitting allowance.
