National water launches Centenary Park station

National Water and Sewerage Corporation [NWSC] Tuesday evening commissioned a new booster pumping station at Centenary Park.

Present at the ceremony was NWSC Board chairman Dr. Eng Christopher Ebal and the managing Director Dr.Eng Silver Mugisha.

The booster station, which is part of concerted efforts by NWSC to stabilise water supply in Kampala will add 6 million litres of water per day to Naguru reservoir and booster supply to parts of Ntinda, Bukoto, Kisaasi, Kulambiro, Najjera, Kyanja, Kungu, Buwate and the surrounding areas.

The project was funded a using internally generated resources as is part of ongoing water stabilisation plans being designed to stabilize supply in and around the city.
