Kampala Capital City Authority [KCCA] executive director, Jennifer Musisi, says she doesn’t know anyone called Tamale Mirundi.
Mirundi is a former presidential press secretary and now a presidential advisor on media.
The vocal presidential aide has been attacking Musisi left and right over the years.
In March 2015, youth in central region led by Abdulbast Kyeyune and Abubaker Mayanja threatened to storm State House accusing Mirundi of abusing senior leaders of the country including Musisi.
Mirundi fired back saying those were agents of Musisi who gave them City Hall as a way of seeking the President’s sympathy and creating unnecessary attention.
He told off Musisi that he was not responsible for her failures and that she should not take it out against him.
“It is known that Musisi was an agent of Mbabazi. She has made herself unpopular, not me,” Mirundi concluded.
Speaking in a Wednesday live Twitter session running under the hashtag #KCCAat5 and held at City Hall, Musisi said she doesn’t know Tamale Mirundi.
She was responding to a question from a tweep who sought to know the relationship between herself and the president’s dog.
“I have never had any relationship,” she stated clearly.
She added: “I have never met him. I don’t know him.”
Musisi said she only reads about Mirundi in newspapers or hears him talking on radios.
As for those threatening her life, Musisi said she was not worried.
“I don’t worry about that, I am here until God says I go.”
Musisi was appointed as KCCA ED in April 2011 assuming office on 15 April 2011.
On 27 February 2014, the President of Uganda re-appointed her for another three-year term, effective 14 April 2014.
She now wants to retire from that office and go home.
