Following the recent attacks in South Sudan, this afternoon the President of the republic of Uganda H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has finally spoken out on the insurgency.
This took place at the National Leadership Retreat in Kyankwanzi where several members from the NRM have gathered to discuss different national issues.
“If South Sudan needs support, we shall be here to help but we’re encouraging them to settle their country on their own,” said Museveni.
This happens is the first comment coming directly from the president since this insurgency.

South Sudan has an insurgency that arise from the failure of two leaders Reik Machal and Salva Kiir to reach an agreement a situation that has claimed hundreds of people and thousands displaced.
